That's Tom Petty, on stage at the Troubadour. In the lower right hand corner is some guy who had his bowl taken away. He was pretty upset that he couldn't get high during "Rainy Day Women #12 & 35 (Everybody must get stoned)". He would turn toward the bouncer who confiscated his pipe, as if to protest the fact that he couldn't do what the song was telling him. Poor guy!

All in all, a pretty great show and a unique opportunity.

My first apartment

When I first moved to LA, I stayed with my cousin Stacey.

We lived in that apartment building until her downstairs neighbor decided to go crazy.

He would scream and yell "Crackhead bitch!" over and over. It was great!

One day, he left a voodoo doll and some incense on the stairway.

I bet they jacked the rent.

My camera phone sucks. I zoomed in to get a good shot and this was the result.

In the interest of full disclosure, this is an anomaly. Most of the gas around here is hover towards four dollars. But still, they wouldn't put that up there if people weren't willing to pay it!

That's the plane from the commercial I shot. It's huge. It's so big, they can't fit the whole thing in the hangar, so the tail is sticking out. I didn't get to go in it, which I was bummed about, but I did get to do other stuff.

Im at a red robin on the 5 midway between la and sactown. Hope i dont get the shits!

I wrote that top portion on my phone. That's why I said "sactown". That particular Red Robin was interesting because it was in the middle of nowhere. Usually, you find a Red Robin in a busy shopping area. This one was empty and deserted and without all the people and noise, it didn't seem quite as festive. Though, in all fairness, the garlic parmesan fries were just as delicious.

Here's a Disneyland tip from a true insider.

When you're walking the path from Fantasyland to Frontierland, you'll pass a covered wagon that says, "Westward Ho!" Stop there and buy some fries.

Now, you might say, "Why, Eric, that's stupid. I can get McDonald's french fries anywhere! You are a silly billy!"

To which I say, "Shut up, idiot."

Look, I don't know if they're actually any different, but trust me, for some reason, they taste way better. Maybe it's that you're at Disneyland, so everything is better. Maybe it's because that's all they serve there and they put more effort into the fries, I don't know. Maybe it's just that because they're so popular, they don't have a chance to get old and stale. This last one might be it, because I've never had fries there that aren't piping hot and awesome.

Trust me on this one. Just do it. There's also a fry stand across from the entrance to the Haunted Mansion.

This is a surprisingly good picture of a Florida sunset taken out of the window of a moving car by my shitty camera phone. It was way better than this, almost like a painting. I think it's cuz of all the open burning they do of the forests here.

It has been cold here in Florida so all the manatees float upriver to this place where there's a power plant. All the warm exhaust water calls to the manatees and they heed that call with all the swiftness in their huge manatees bodies. It's pretty cool, because in this small area of the river, there's 50 or 60 of them, floating around, right under the water. Then they come up to breathe every once in a while. I took a picture of that, but it's not very impressive, so I took a picture of this instead. It says that if you love the manatees, you shouldn't feed them. Alot of them get run over by boats and junk. I love the manatees, so I don't feed them. Except for a few hotdogs and some salt water taffy.

My mom has it. She just got this Blackberry Curve. Mostly because I told her she didn't need it and she wanted to "show me" what a grown up she was or something.

She has no idea how to use it. She can barely answer a call. It's sad, really. She can't even set up her enterprise server!
